This weekend we managed to grab a little hour away at my newly discovered favourite place to climb outdoors – Brean Down. In the Avon climbing guidebook, it kind of paints a horrible tale of blustering bits of sand in the holds, soft movable rock and that it’s an acquired taste.. well maybe that taste is perfect for my palette then as I’m in love with the rock here!!
I find it so much more friendly than polished limestone in Cheddar and Avon Gorge, and to be climbing by the seaside is absolutely fantastic. The calm you get climbing here feels like no other. Total <3. Of course, squeezed in some yoga too
